IT’S HIGH TIME THAT WE SHOULD START TAKING MENTAL HEALTH SERIOUSLY!!!
Mental health is not a destination or success of life, but it’s just a process. Mental health is not about where you are going but it’s about how you drive to reach that destination.
Now comes the question, What actually is mental health? Is it necessary in our life to know about this? The answer to the question is ‘yes, we need to know, in fact, the people who had mental condition deserve or even need the support and compassionate as compared to the people with mental health conditions’
Mental health is the state or level of psychological well-being. The person with mental health knows his or her ability in different fields, can work efficiently and fruitfully, and able to contribute effectively to his or her environment, have reasons to perform any activity, and the most important thing he or she had the success.
MENTAL HEALTH IMPORTANCE
Emotional and mental health is important because it plays a vital role in one’s life and impacts the thoughts, behaviors, emotions, health, and relations of humans. Mental health includes, an individual’s ability to enjoy every moment of life, and to create a balance between life activities and the efforts to achieve every goal.
Mental health is one of the most important needs in this era, as it high time that we should start thinking about mental health seriously. Even though you are worrier, you can be a warrior in life. At the end of every darkness, there is a light of happiness for achievement and to think. One should think about his or her mental health seriously and should experience true happiness by validating the worth of oneself. It’s up to us to start making healthy choices, not the choices that are just healthy for our body, but must healthy for our mind.
MENTAL HEALTH, ACCORDING TO SOCIETY
In our society, culture, or traditions mental health some kind of different meaning, it changes dynamically as per the ideas of distinguished people. The following are the pointers which give views about the thinking of society about mental health:
- Has self-esteem, self-acceptance, self -respect.
- Is capable to maintain fulfilling relationships.
- Has a sense of autonomy.
- Should always give effective, fruitful, and productive results.
- Has a sense of competence, purpose, mastery, intelligence.
- He should be realizing potential.
- Has a sense of psychological well-being.
- Should fulfill the desires, acceptance, or necessities of relations.
- Should be supportive and compassionate.
- Has the capability to gaze upon circumstances or situations in life.
- Should be successful in achieving every goal which completes one’s life.
- Should know how to handle the stress and to overcome that stress by itself.
In this modern or 21st century, every fifth person is suffering from mental health due to distinguish anxieties, problems, tension, workload, breakups, online classes, divorce, financial problems, college-project, school- homework, presentations, deadline, overweight, etc. Even, nowadays in this competition of life the topmost issues arise is “what people will think if I’ll act”, and just due to this thinking the pressures also arise.
I believe that how we feel and think is central to the way we live our lives. Just like physical health our mental health can too have ups & downs in stages of life. As in every step, there are many to laugh, to make jokes, to setup panchayat for the one who faces undesirable results. Sometimes the saying goes as if someone had unsuccessful outcomes that “his luck was not good, not perform well, can’t do anything” which consequently brings mental illness.
Why do we need to think about our mental health seriously?
Mental health is as important as physical health and wealth. In this era of coercion, everyone needs perfection at any cost. They want others to perform in their own way. The mental health needs to be taken seriously so to achieve every goal in a positive nor in a constraint or oppression circumstances. Mental health determines or demonstrates how we can handle the stress, as strain is at every stage, at every task. Its high time, to have a thought about mental illness, and to go through it, and to make different choices which have result in a fruitful and desirable way. If one can experience his or her mental health problems, then he’s thinking, mood, and behavior would be affected. Therefore, one can decide the positive way, in which he can attain success, joy, happiness without being in oppression, constraint.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, EVERYONE HAS A PROBLEM, NOT THE SOLUTION REMARKABLE FOR OTHERS!!
Mental health can be experienced by anyone across the globe. To recover from mental illness is a process that can take a few weeks or even a complete life. The basic structure is required in this recovery. These include Proper sleep of up to 8 hours per day, a balanced diet, exercise, yoga, medication, peer support, supportive partner, family blessings, love, and a compassionate environment. Nowadays, uncountable mental health treatment & services with distinguished personalities are available for individual treatment. Sometimes, an incident happen which makes a person in such a stage that he did not expect or it’s undesirable and thus it results in mental issues. It cannot be easily said that one must forget the event which brings mental stress to him so as to reduce mental illness.
The one is who is recovering from mental illness is the key person in resolving this stress. The person having mental issues should just do the things which make him entertain and a positive mood. He should talk or spend time with supportive friends, blessed parents, or siblings.
“ALWAYS TRY THAT PAST SADNESS & FEARFUL FUTURE SHOULD NOT RUIN YOUR PRESENT. YOU WILL ACHIEVE TO FIGHT THE BATTLE ONCE AGAIN”.
I now pen down, summing up my views with a thought:
If I can survive the war that I battle with myself, I can survive anything. If you feel it like you can’t perform accordingly the task, rediscover yourself, find your passion, find the purpose of being on the Earth.
